I seem to have a problem with how fast my car reacts to fuel when the turbo spools up. I would like to know what you guys think.

It seems that if i accelerate slowly into boost i have no problems. however the quicker i try to accelerate in the gears it may take almost all the way through the gear for the fuel amount to catch up needed. Or when i shift gears then the next gear will not feel like it isnt robbed of fuel. I can verifiy with my F/A ratio gauge that it will run lean then shot to rich half way through a gear or after i shift.

My fuel pressure is ok it always seems to folow the boost levels, but i still have doubts about hahns FPR

So what should i do get fuel injectors (what size i plan on getting a howell bottom end and run about 18psi)

Or a FPR

Currently running 8psi

Thanks

If you dont mind adjusting the idle fuel presure ever 5 times you start the car then the cartech FPR is fine. Although everyone who has bought the kits seems to agree that they are not very good and should be one of the first things you replace.

I would get the SFMu and call it a day. That is prolly just the cartech not reacting properly to the boost. Also check the vac lines to the fpr and make sure it's getting a good signal, because if you t the line too many times it may not get a good reading.

If the S-FMU doesn;t fix it, get the Missing Link (or if you have the Missing Link already, clean it out as it maybe clogged).

ok, thanks.

I will try the Vorteck SFMU and see what happens. I do actually have a missing link, but i also have the black box at the same time. I think i will try removing the black box and see what happens or vis versa... little trouble shooting. So you guys dont think it is fuel injectors... that is good. thanks for the advise

if you remove your Black box your car will hit fuel cut. Because your MAP sensor will see boost and drop the voltage you might want to replace it with the ML. I have heard of some peoples black box not working so get a ML and your problem should go away. also the s-fmu is a good idea
