Well, My boost fund is at about $5000. I am hoping to god it is good enough, because I am sick of waiting. I Have 5 grand, and with that I need to build up the bottom end, I have 140k miles, I was just going to get new pistons rods and rings, Do you all think I will need more than that? I was thinking of just going with the Howell Bottom end kit, and going 8.6:1 comp. I think I am going to go with the Star kit, but I dont know much about it. Is it as good, or close to the hahn kit? I still am not sure though, the only reason I want star over hahn is because of the price, and star has an FMIC (I am going for stg 2). ANY help would be nice, I am going to order parts as soon as I can.
Also would I need an safc and a manual boost controller right off the bat? or can those wait? what would I need to get as soon as I got the turbo. Thanks guys

go over to www.2gnt.com. there is tons of info over there from 420As going turbo. also 5 grand should be about enough for what you need. some people will tell you that the S-AFC is not very good on 2gnts. you can get it but you should not go more than +/- 10% because it can cause problems on the nts. i believe you can run like 400cc injectors just using the sfmu to tune with and be fine, but im not sure. Also, there is a memeber called Motofool who makes custom kits with about anythign you want and he is cheaper than the star kits (which can take qutie awhile) and the hahn kits. he can make or add anythign you want to the kit and he will work with you on the price. I say talk to him, he can help you out.
