I blew the engine on my 4g63t, I found a guy that has a 4g63 non turbo motor for very cheap. What would I have to do to install it in my turbo car. Do I just take off the exhaust manifold and rplace it with the one from my turbo engine, or is that not even possible?

that will work, it will run a tad rich, but its alot easier to go that way than it is to go from nt to turbo.

the nt 4g63 has higher compression....so you wont be able to run high boost until you upgrade the internals.(6-8 pounds) you could use your turbo ecu and turbo injectors since the injectors are bigger and the ecu is tuned for the injectors. you should also swap the cams(unless it is an auto) since the 5 speed turbo cars had more aggresive cams than the non turbos.
i'm ssure theres more but thats just a few things to look out for...and i haven't converted my nt to t yet...but i plan on it

i didn't think he was still looking to use the turbo or try to make it fast at all, just make it run.

my bad....so when he puts it in, he will have lower compression and his injectors will be to big for his ecu.....switch the injectors and it should work....then plan on doing a turbo swap.....sorry i read the post wrong
