i plan on boosting at a max of 10 psi on the star stg 2. what injector size would you increase to, if any, and what other addons would you add to accomodate those injectors, if any?

thanks,
dave

some 315cc injectors should be good. get a good fpr and maybe the afc to lean it out a little.
cool

Yes it does, and if you are keeping the inj size pretty close to stock like 310 or so then you can just change the disk inside of the FPR to raise fuel at a lower rate while boosting. For EX with the 310 I think some guys have had success going with the 10:1 or the 8:1 disk. Go to www.2gnt.com and search for posts by a guy named DeanoD I believe he was running this setup. I also responded to you other post about the SFMU. And if you are only going with slightly larger injectors then you shouldn't need the SFMU like I said above, I just figured you were going to be going with 440's or something.

and i assume that i could run w/o the safc with the 310cc injectors and the fmu?

where can i get that 8:1 disk and can i install that myself without any problems?

nm i found it at the vortech web site....damn my car is gonna be runnin so damn smooth :)

i am reading reports that people are replacing the disk in their FMU to 8:1 ratio for a not-so-rich fuel ratio on 30lb / 310cc injectors. but a few of them are saying they are STILL running rich...could this be that the 8:1 ratio disk is only rated for 24lb injectors??? i think so. so if this were the case would a 6:1 ratio disk be a better choice for 310cc injectors? check it out:

I've been hearing 8:1 is what you use for 30lb injectors. I tried to run 8:1 on my stock injectors and it came out too lean so I put a 10:1 in there and it seems to run better. 12:1 is just too freakin much pressure it runs pig rich all teh time. even with 10: disc and stock injectors I run like .99v at WOT but at partial throttle I can lean it up a bit and get some good egts. yeh I need a super afc =P

anyway you'll probably wanna put the 8:1 in for a little cushion of safety. You always want it to be a little rich when turbocharged just in case.
