My n/t engine's t-belt broke and I took out then engine. What a bi*** it was. Specially when the head wouldn't come off because of stupid stripped 12 point heads bolts.

Anyway, I left the tranny in, supported by wood and it's mount. Is there anything I should get done before I start putting the turbo block in? Just to make my life easier.

I realize I could do all the wiring now to save aggrevation later and I could feed my boost guage vacuum line through the firewall. What else should I do to prepare this engine? Stiffen the motor mounts?

Suggestions please.
 
I have a clutch capable of holding 300 lbs/ft of torque to utilize my n/t tranny.
 
From what I understand, it's not the clutch that makes the turbo tranny better than the n/t but the gears are physically weaker in the n/t. It's your choice though.
 
I know 2 guys pushing a 16G through the 1G N/T tranny with no problems. The gearing is different. Taller gears.
