I'm pretty much ready to reassemble the head from my turbo engine and build it on the NA block. The only thing is, I was discussing with a friend about the differences between the two. The most notable being the compression ratios. The NA has a higher compression ratio. So my friend recommended I get the turbo pistons because the extra compression could cause problems, especially with the turbocharger providing more air to be compressed more than normal.

Should I buy turbo pistons to replace the higher compression NA pistons? Also, you do need different connecting rods, correct, or are the rods universal between the two?

Thanks for your help.

the rods are universal but do get the other pistons if you plan on keeping it turbo'ed.

Thanks for your help. I noticed you have a turbocharged NA Talon (sounds kinda amusing to say that :p), and I was wondering whether you machined your block to include the oil squirters (or get a turbo block) or just ignore them?
