I just purchased a Hahn stage 2 kit and wanted to know the average install time it took you guys to put it on. Myself and 2 buddies will be doing this with access to a Pit.

Also what are the major problems you ran into? I'm conserned about breaking header bolts and such....

And last is there any boost loss in the SMIC or nothing really noticable compared to a FMIC. I only ask for adjusting purposes. After play time i want to keep the boost around 5psi

it took me and 3 friends 30 hours to do it..

there were no major problems, just frequent trips to the hardware store for misc tools. if you are worried about breaking bolts, just put some PB blaster on them the night before.

the fmic is a major plus but the side mount will work fine.

it took me and 4 of my buddies about 20 hours to install my NON intercooled kit. our biggest problem was my cat, which we continuously heated the bolts holding it to my downpipe over and over, and they wouldnt break loose. we finally gave up, cut the thing off, and now i have a 2 5/8" testpipe.....sshhhhhh, dont tell new york state.... it certainly can be done quicker than we did it, but do plan for stuff to go wrong, cause it will. but good luck, and happy boosting!!!
