ordered howell's bottom end kit

yup, so i bit the bullet today and ordered howell's bottom end rebuilt kit. je pistons, eagle extreme rods and a bunch of other goodies that come with it. im going 20 over bore. im also going to get some crane cams at the same time. ill post some dyno sheets so everyone can see the comparison from stock internals to now.

hey man when you order the kit do you get .20 over for the bearings to right cause i am ordering the kit today.

yeah, you get the correct sizes for everything. i would call them rather than do an internet order

Hey James, I hate to say it man but what did they tell you the turn around time was for that kit? I called them last week and they told me a few weeks, so i ordered from Race Enigneering. That and Howell automotive has been messing with a friend of mine for the last month. Good luck with them man!

Hey the bearings don't need to be anything but stock unless you need to go smaller because of a crank problem.

yeah, they said mine will be here on thursday. i just ordered the kit, nothing more.

the pistons they had in stock but not the rods, thats why it will take till thursday. i ordered a re-ring kit before i decided to bore out the motor and it was here in 2 days.

im doing the work along with a local performance shop who is doing great work.

Ten days??? They told me 4 weeks!! Why ten days? That sounds wierd - are they closer to you?

Nevermind. I think I was referring to the whole rebuilt bottom end kit as opposed to ordering just the parts. So thats why it takes 4 weeks I guess.

RPM Extreme (i think thats the name), takes 1 week i think.
