You can as long as you keep an eye on your wideband. You should invest in something to tune with though...

Pretty bad. Watch a wideband. Your ECU isn't designed to provide fuel for any boost at all. Your forged internals might hang with it for a while, but you will most likely have detonation due to a lean condition and that's not good for anything. In fact, detonation is probably the #1 way engines die while people are tuning them. They'll have a bad tune, be nowhere close to the limits of the engine, and *pop*. Luckily this often manifests itself as a blown head gasket, but some times it just wipes out the whole engine.
It's kind of like having a new fancy watch and then asking "what happens if I swing this baseball bat near it, is that bad?"

Yup, since its an EIC, your "out of boost" Characteristis "should " be the same and there should be little to no risk there.. minus that weak Fuel pressure gauge.

Pretty good power, but i highly doubt a few more psi can bring it up 100whp.

Why not tune for something like 20psi? You have the bottom end for it. 20G's don't even wake up until 21psi..
You should be able to make 300whp at about 17-18 psi.

300 around 15psi is possible, but a lot of factors are taken in to account. I made the numbers I did at only 17 or 18psi.

Oh dang! Yea you could see 300 or close to it. But as already said if you can turn that boost up to around 22psi to really start having some fun with it, if you have the supporting mods and what not.

i dont think its the waste gate. Thats my IMO. I know they tried 2 controllers, but im not to sure why they couldnt turn it up with an MBC, i think install error. Its all mechanical, and if the WG is functioning without the MBC, holding 6psi, and opening up when you shift.. then logic says ###### the MBC. idk Jus my .02

idk, Perhaps MBCs dont work particularly well on Internal gates with that small of a spring. I dont see why they wouldnt, but who knows. Theres 2 nipples on them,, think its possible they hooked them up wrong.. did the swap hoses? Idk, sounds weird. the only think i can think of is the MBC needed to be closed more, to prevent the WG from seeing pressure.

They could try disconnecting the wastegate from its vacuum line. If it still won't boost more, the spring pressure isn't enough to overcome the exhaust pressure -- that would be pretty odd at just 6psi, though.
