How many of you 420a NT with turbo guys are using block guards with your engine builds or turbo setups?

The 420a is a semi closed deck. It has plenty of support for the cylinders. If you look at the deck surface than look at a honda deck surface you will see why it is not needed, and how it wouldn't even fit because the cylinders are tied to the outer block.

+1 and ours is iron and hondas are aluminum. These blocks have been taken over 700whp.

Thank you for the fast response! I was purchasing a block guard for a honda motor and thought about buying one for my 420a, but as you said it is not needed.
