I have a 97 Eclipse RS and I am going to be turbo charging it soon, I am wondering if it will be OK if I get a Catback and a CAI designed for a turbo before I actually get one, or if I need to wait till after I have my turbo before I have the Catback and CAI designed for it put in. Also I want to put in new pistons that will handle a higher compresion rate so that I will be able to get the most out of the turbo charger, So i guess I am asking what kind of pistons I should use as well. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free...
Thanks

Turbo kits come with their own intakes so dont bother buying a CAI unless you wanna waste a little money. Also you want to run a lower compression piston to handle more boost. Stock compression is 9.6:1 so you wanna run lower like 8.6:1. You CAN run a higher compression pistons BUT you must have the car tuned VERY well. As far as an exhaust, you can get one, but make sure that the piping is at least 2.5 inches in diameter. On turbo cars the bigger the piping the better. Usually 3 inches is where you wanna be at.

Good luck
