I just need a simplistic outline for the route of the oil from the head/oil filter (wherever you have decided to route the oil to the turbo) to the turbo. My set-up will include an oil cooler.

Also a simplistic view of the collant lines to the turbo and the oil cooler. Any pictures would be great appreciated showing the route.

Thanks in advance.

Look at Roadraceengineering's website under tips and tech and at the SS oil supply upgrade & info. Lots of info and pictures. This should help.

the routing all depends on which kind of cooler you intend to use.

first off though, the oil travels (stock) from the bolt on the passenger front of the cylinder head, into the turbo, back out, and into the oil pan.

the oil coolers all are setup to attach on the oil filter housing. the 90 air-to-air (which is similar to the aftermarket ones) simply has two hoses that connect to the side of the oil filter housing and route the oil out to the oil cooler that mounts on the front of the car.

if you use the stock one from 91 on then you'll need a little more than the cooler. you'll need to have the cooler, and the lower thermostat housing, as well as some hardlines. the oil simply passes through the cooler on its way to and from the oil filter in this situation. the coolant passes down from the thermostat housing, through the cooler, and then back up to the thermostat housing.

hope that helps.
