Where is a fast, cheap and reliable place to order a star stage one turbo kit from?
Also, it comes with an hks BOV right?

man, this is just as much of a mystery to me. i would love to get the star kit, i just have absolutely no clue where to get it from!

you can get them at www.overboost.com and also there is a guy on the forum that sells the star turbo kits. The only thing with overboost is that it doesn't come with everything it shows in the parts guide on the forum, so i would sugest looking for the guy that sells them on the forum. I'm also looking for more places that sells the star kits, so when i find more i'll post them. Hope this helps.- Kevin

I have found another place to buy the star kit. www.wholesalehyperformance.com is selling a drag kit for the 2gnt and it says it's a star kit, but is manufactured by drag. Also it doesn't show what exactly comes with the kit. I'm emailing them asking about what it comes with. When i find out, i'll post it. - Kevin

horsepowerfreaks has it but they said it comes with no BOV and that it would take about a month to get it. i e-mailed turbo420a and PM him, but no response.

The star stage 2 kit comes withe the HKS Standard BOV at www.horsepowerfreaks.com . It says it under what comes with the kit. It also says you can buy the stage one and upgrade to stage 2 and it will just give you the intercooler and BOV. It's selling it for $2800. - Kevin

Star stage 1 piping is extremely stupid. Your BOV will go right where the battery is. I'll find a pic...

Well imagestation is down so I'll get you the pic whenever it's back up. People have fitment troubles stage 1 though.

for a split second i was considering orderign a star kit becaus it was cheaper but after finding out it comes with no BOV bad fitment, and the fact that i can't find a reliable place to get it, (wyatt wont answer or write back, and 420turbo wont either) i have decided to go on my first choice, and best i think, hahn stage one.

It's just the stage 1. Stage 2 there might be minor fitment problems but nothing major. Heres what I mean.

i'm definetely not getting star stage one now. where are u supposed to put the BOV, or should i say, where are you supposed to put the battery?
where are you supposed to order it and get all the parts and not have to wait over a month. This is ridiculous.

ImportParts.com carries complete STAR kits. they are very reputable. the only thing HRC has over the STAR kit is customer support. other than that, if you look at it piece by piece, the STAR kit owns it, and its cheaper. turbo support is what 2gnt.com is for oh yeah, my STAR kit fit up just fine..... maybe its all in the install???

Hey Dino....I just called Jody, and got a nice price quote on the star stage II. $2850...cheapest one ive gotten yet. Thanx a lot...oh ya...does anyone have any reasons why I should get the HAHN instead of the STAR kit. I can't seem to think of any reasons. The star comes with a FMIC, all the piping, and its cheaper...who the hell would get the HAHNs one???

im getting my star stage I at Imoto.com. so far, the guys over there have been great with me, and have hooked me up with a killer deal (triple guage pod w/ autometer boost, a/f, and oil pressure, greddy type s bov, and tial wastegate, along with all the stage I stuff for 2170 shipped)

btw....im gonna relocate my battery to the trunk. it should be pretty easy, and it will certainly solve the bov fitment problem

I ordered mine from Overboost.com and....

THEY SUCK!! They were the worst people to try and deal with. Not only did they lie to me for weeks about shipping my kit, but they refused to give me my tracking number. Finally I called and spoke with a manager and said that if I didn't get a tracking number I was going to report them to California's BBB as they had taken FULL PAYMENT a week and a half before it actually shipped. Anyway, I'm content thus far with Stage II though I'm only running 5psi (I must have a leak somewhere because I've been told I should be running 7psi). I also have some concerns with the install as I was under the impression that I needed to override the signal from the map sensor so that it read 4 volts to the ECU yet it does not appear that the override was done. Oh well, kit's worth it even though my FMIC is crooked and I have to notch out my bumper and remove my foglights to get it to fit...
