i'll be ordering my HRC stage one kit and i've been studing the install directions and i have everything down except for the fuel system confuses me a bit and was hoping you guys could help me

The HRC fuel pump is external right? What is it's purpose then if u already use the stock pump? just an extra precaution?
So does it just go inbetween the stock fuel line going to the engine? where exactly does it mount?
On the FPR the directions say to find the hose on the end of the fuel rail which connects the center fittin on the rail to the steel line on the firewall. Is this the rubber hose on the end of the fuel rail that i t'd off for my NX wet kit? So do you run a line where this hose used to go to the FPR and then a hose from there to the rail?

You should really consider getting a Vortech S-FMU and replacing the Cartech, it sux big time.

It is external and mounts almost behind the passenger side rear tire. You have to have it.

You take off the hose the fuel rail and run it to the fpr. From the fpr you go back to the fuel rail.

if it's external then why do you have to take out the rear seat? is this just to wire the electronics?

on the fuel rail you mean the rubber hose on the drivers side right?
thanks man

By the way i got my kit from hahn two weeks ago and i didnt get the cartech fuel pressure regulator with the kit, they sent out a billet aluminum one that says BEGI on top of it.So i am thinking they went to a new one to replace the cartech. Seems to be working good so far (keeps constant pressure at idle).

sounds awesome.. what kit you running and how's it working? how much boost? how long did it take to get the kit and how did u pay?:dsm:

Wait a sec, HRC dosen't replace the internal (crappy) fuel pump that comes with our cars? They just add a rewire kit to it? No offense but come on, Star's comes with a Walboro 255. I'd at least buy that fuel pump!

For stock injectors running the accel in-line is by far superior and safer then just running a walbro 255. This is why HRC does it. I would definately not want to run a walbro 255 and try and get 110 psi (stock injectors). I think it's dumb if you don't replace your injectors because 110psi is crazy no matter what kind of pump you use.
