Missing Link question

There is one for our cars. i have one

guys....im pretty well versed in terms of dsm's and 420a turbo conversions, but i have no idea what the missing link is....ive heard of it, but an explanation would be great....thanks

It is a piece of metal that sits in between the map sensor and the intake. To put it simply what it does is bleeds off excess pressure via a pin hole so that the map dosen't read positive pressure in the manifold. We all know what happens when it does, NO FUEL! BTW, has anyone tried swapping the 420A GS/RS map with the PT Crusier map yet? If so please PM me and let me know how it went!

The Missing Link for the Honduhs will not work for us. You need to order the Missing Link designed for the 420A. It is mostly used due to the fact that HRC's and Star's FCD do not work well after time in stopping fuel cut.

hey i plan on putting a Star Stage II Kit in my car and was wondering if i needed a missing link? and where i could get one? thanks

The missing link(ML) is a check valve. it holds your MAP sensor in it and closes when boost sets in so your MAP sensor dose not see boost or posative manifold pressure, and drops voltage causing fuel cut.YES if you are boosted you will need some sort of Fuel Cut Defensor(FCD)
