Last time I checked, voltage clamps were a more sure shot way to go since many missing links were hit or miss when it came to functionality and longevity.

It's just a piece of metal that lets air escape so the MAP sensor doesn't read it. The difference between the 2 will probably be the bolt pattern, so no, you wont be able to use without modification. Just buy a FCD (fuel cut defender) for an eclipse (420A).

Yep, just got busy and didn't have much time at all.

OP - Go with a FCD/Voltage clamp.

The ML for the 420a will only work on a 420a - it mounts between the Chrysler MAP sensor and the intake manifold. As well, as mentioned, they are a bit flaky at times - plus the constant need to replace filters (cigarette filter)

If you're going to go with a missing link, get a synapse not an ebay one. I've used a synapse for a couple years and haven't had a problem. But it's the same price as a FCD from Paul (symtechlabs) so you might as well get one of his FCD's
