50 trim turbo damaged?

long story short i bought a turbonetics kit around 1 year ago and noticed a ground spot on the end of the shaft on the o2 side of the turbo. so i contacted them and they gave me the "that's supposed to be there" run around(they would warranty it if i had problems ect...) so i let it got for about 1K miles(another long story, the gsx it was on has the potential of bieng pretty f'ed...) so i popped it off and put it on CL to trade or make some $$ for my 420a turbo parts. i took it to meet a fellow dsmer(with a hella sick 2gb talon might i add) with some pretty big plans. and anyways he didnt like the look of it, i dont blame him i didnt either but the whole warranty thing had me feeling alright. so heres a pic. do you guys think should i rebuild it or what?? its a beast and cost me a pretty penny and i want to resell it, but i imagine it would be hard looking like this...

That is material they removed for balancing purposes. Perfectly normal

Yep, that is from balancing and normal. I would be more worried if it didnt have any balancing marks.

When you balance a wheel on your car, you add weights to the rim. When you balance a turbo, you can't add weights to it, so you have to take weight off. That little slice there is how much they had to shave to balance the assembly.
