I have a friend with a Neon R/T 2.0L. Which I'm told is the same as the stratus 2.4L. Is the 420A found in the N/A 2g the same at all ?

Just wondering b/c a SRT4 motor with an automatic in a light weight 2G RS would be cheap, deadly, and reliable.

I was always told the NA 2g DSMs had dodge neon motors. With it being DOHC and an 2.0L motor, I assumed its almost the same as the Neon R/T motor... Neon R/T motor is the same as the stratus/SRT4 motor ( except its a 2.0L instead of a 2.4L of course, and minor things like cam profile etc. ).

Just a inquirey at this point, but I do have a 430whp/550TQ stock turbo/stock head/stock block SRT4 already.... Its just the SRT4 is such a cow...

The 420a found in the 2gnt DSM is essentially the same DOHC engine found in 1st gen Neons, but for Mitsubishi platforms, it flows backwards. The bottom half of the 2.4 from the Chrysler cloud cars is a popular swap.

Nobody, to my knowledge, has successfully shoved a A855 into a 2gnt. I am unsure of why it won't work. Somebody will surely say, though.
