hahn manifold question

Has anyone used a Tial 38mm wastegate on the Hahn turbo manifold?

If you have, do you have pictures?

Anyone used a 60-1 on the 420a with the Hahn manifold?

WHAT ARE YOU WANTING TO KNOW?

its a t-3 flange so the 60-1 will bolt up.

it is not flanged for an external wastegate, so yea could cut a hole and weld a wastegate flange on it, but why? it effects its structural integrity and destroys its beauty. you need to buy a STAR manifold thats ready to go for you and cheaper. they are always for sale on 2gnt and ebay.

yeah, i saw a picture of one on 2gnt before a guy welded on a flange for the tial WG, and then just had the manifold ceramic coated black so it wouldnt look bad.

....It was real easy to find just had to search for "Hahn external wastegate"

The guy said he couldn't get a closer shot because the engine was already in the engine bay.

Like stated earlier there could pose a risk of weakening the structure of the manifold. Also, if you want to go this route make sure you find a way to support that external wastegate pipe. Last thing you want is for the new flange to break off from all of the heat and vibration.
