okay guys i want to run 20psi high and 10psi low but for some reason or another i cant get it past about 13psi, I am running fully built with the greddy profecB Boost controller also when i switched blov it altered the boost as well from a blitz to a greddy RS and i have the portfueler

Try to reset your BC. I'm assuming its dual stage if its profec-B.

Have you checked for boost leaks? Any signs of problems? Idles fine? I need more info to help you out...

Granted I'm runing the E-01 profec, but if yours has an auto mode where you just set the boost number, instead of usnig a percentange, use the percentange.

Also make sure your profec is hooked up correctly, There is a diagram that paul has one taht shows how to hook up a electronic one. (mainly I'm talking about using the top vac port on the external wastegate if you are using one)

Definitely check for the obvious first. You need to be a bit more descriptive...are you spiking 13 and tapering off, holding all the way to redline, etc

Okay here is some more info, idles fine runs fine no boost leaks all vac lines are redone and secure. i am positvie the profect B is hooked up right. on low boost its at about 20% and running about 6psi holds solid and good. on high boost it is set to 70% and runs about 13psi solid and good but if i try to crank it up for example taking high boost to 90% it will not pass 13psi.

I do have gain but i havent adjusted it since i installed the boost controller so it should be at nothing. I have the delta mark II wastegate and when i close it completely on my wastegate manually before i had the boost controller it wouldnt hit above 14psi or so. What woulld this mean my turbo being bad? its only a year old the TD04/T3 And when the wastegate is closed I know its closed because i screw it all the way in and i cant hear anything out of the pipe.

No I doubt that your turbo is bad.

If anything you just need a new wastegate spring, maybe one that starts at 10psi instead of 7psi. Or if you ever tried opening your wastegate maybe you damaged the diaphram.

Start w/ your boost controller. If you've never messed w/ the gain then that could be your problem, gain controls how fast and slow your boost response is, and when its not set up correctly, you can spike over your goal, or not reach it at all.

On my e0-1

for roughly 10psi

My set: is 25%
Gain: 35%
Start boost: 5psi

You definately notice a big response difference when the gain is not set, so play around with it okay. You might get what your looking for.

okay i will try playing around with the gain and see if i can do anything. also i have not found where to buy a new spring for those wastegates i ordered a 15psi spring one time but it didnt fit right so i dont know where to get one.

www.summitracing.com Should have them. I think 15psi would be a lil high right off the bat. I would stick w/ a ten pound spring and use a boost controller to raise boost pressure from there.

just a little note that may help you out a rule of thumb when it comes to wastegaes is if your base psi is say 7 then the max you can turn it up to is 14, all the wastegates I've delt with have been this way and the delta mark II we have has a 7psi spring in it so you won't be able to get more than 14psi out of it. Your best alternative is to go ahead and buy the tial 38mm from somewhere like slowboy where you can pick your desired base psi. For the money it's a good investment and saves a LOT of heahache b/c the delta is a POS IMO.I personally haven't installed mine yet along with about $2500 worth of parts ;) b/c I have to wait about 2 months to get home from IRAQ, but I hve heard nothing but good things about the tial.
hope this helps- best regards

Randy i think your settings are incorrect.

Your start boost should be as close to your "Set" value as possible without a boost spike. The Start Boost value is the rate of spool up.

Your gain is maxed out. 35% is the max. You use the gain to keep the boost consistant at high rpms.
