Hey guys, I need some help with this stuff. I'm having trouble with the minor accessories needed for this install to go smooth.

1) does the 20G share the same flange as a t3/t4? If not or so, where can I buy one at? Ebay doesn't seem to have the 20G flange. Although it is the same as the 16G.
2) What size is the 20G feed line?
3) What size is the oil return line?
4) Where can I find the oulet fittings for my turbo (return and feed)? Please don't give universal reply, I'm pretty sure this is specific per turbo size and model.

I've searched as far as I am capable of doing so and cannot find this info for the life of me. I appreciate all the help and concern. TIA. :thumb:

Do you have a picture of the turbo you have? I have seen 20g's with T3 flanges and I have seen 20g's with mitsu flanges, so I guess it depends on what you got. As for the rest, I do not exactly know. I would just keep searching ebay looking for oil line kits and such for your turbo. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

No I dont have a pic of the turbo but I can get one once I return from FL. It's cool, I appreciate any reply.

1. As long as you have a true MHI 20G, you should have the same flange as the 16G/14B. These can be found on eBay, or from turboflanges.com, or from that other site Chris knows about (what's the URL again? I can never remember it...). If you have a 20G rip-off made by some other company, you're on your own. It might fit a 16G flange: it might fit a T3 flange.

2. Your feed line should be the same size as anyone's: a 4-AN line.

3. The same goes for the return line: 10-AN.

4. All of the fittings you'll need can be found at Home Depot or Lowes. You'll just have to take all of your lines in hand to the store and start piecing together your oil system. Just remember that the oil pressure sending unit hole accepts a 3/8" NPT fitting and that "flare"="-AN". The only thing you won't be able to find there is the oil outlet flange. A flange made for the 16G should work: they can be found on eBay.

5. Where are you in FL? I live in FL. (this is an important technical question)

I'm in Ocala, right by Lady Lake. I'll be here until Tuesday and I'm bored out of my mind. It would be AWESOME to meet up with you and hang. Give me a call if you get a free chance : (302) 562-3170...

Thanks for the info. I'm looking as we speak... :thumb:

Ohhh... Ocala, no wonder you're bored. That's horse country up there. I'd meet up with you, but I have to go to work tomorrow, and you're about seven hours away...

LOL. 7 Hours away??? Damn, thats pretty far. I don't blame ya!

Well I found this, it seems to be correct for my turbo. -10AN for the return..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Func...ryZ33742QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

How's that looking? Correct?

I found some stainless braided line in Summitt for -10, I'm assuming 3 feet should be suffice?

A guy on this site has feed lines for pretty cheap. Is there anything specific I should request when I place my order for it? Other then -4AN size?

Also, when I get home I'll post pics of my turbo. Hopefully you guys can check it out and let me know what flange I'm looking at.

Heres a pic of my manifold actually:

Unfortunately, the flange is about 1/2 short on both sides of the shape. My buddy Edgar does porting for a reputable shop, so I'm going to see what he can do with the manifold before I install it. Also, I was thinking of spot welding around the ports and flange, just to be on the safe side of things. Little bit more strength hopefully.

Does the position of my flange looks correct to you? I've heard about fitment problems of the downpipe because the flange is not in the proper location. If this manifold requires too much work to use, I'll junk er and buy the tubular one from SSautochrome.

Let me know how things are looking so far. I will be updating on Tuesday or Wednesday with pics of my turbo and I/C piping.

For the guy that said flare is the same as AN is wrong. AN uses 45degrees to seal the surfaces and flare uses a 37degree surface to seal. If you interchange the 2 it will leak. I guess it you crush it enough it wont but the next time it will. Just giving you a heads up.

It worked for me... over and over and over again. :D

not to rag on the manifold, but it looks a little on the ..."not professionally made" side.
If you know what youre doing welding then it cant hurt to have at it. HAHN makes a nice manifold you can buy separate, its even prettier then my STAR manifold, well it was until I ceramic coated my manifold and downpipe (among other things) :p .

Im leaving for illinios tomorrow, but I'll be back in a week. When I return you're more then welcome to come check out my stage II RS Im only about 8 minutes from bear,de

Yea I'm in Newark for parties alot but most of the time work. Shoot me a PM when you get back and I'll check it out.

You're probably a busy guy, but I'm hoping to find someone nearby to help me with my install. Just kind of supervise, show me some ins and outs I may miss. Luke (Luke69) is giving me a hand. But hes all the way in Dover. I'm renting my buddys shop for a week, it's got everything we will need. Let me know. :thumb:
