missing link, still fuel cut.....???

ok heres the deal, i have the missing link installed on the car, along with the star stage 2...the car ran fine for a day, then it started with fuel cut and it threw a cel, i ran a logger on it and it came up with this....

MAP sensor voltage too high

Harness and connector / Bad VC1 / Replace MAP sensor

obviously its my map sensor seeing boost, why is it seeing boost with a missing link?? it gets fuel cut during the transition from vacuum to boost....so 0 boost if you will...and this usually occurs between 3 and 4 thousand rpms.....sometimes it doesn't do it an sometimes it feels like the motor is going to jump out of the car....

any fix for this??? bad missing link??? i had a dirty filter in it, cleaned it and it blow out....(dont put them in when wet and expect them to stay)...i put a brand new one in and it still throws the cel and fuel cuts.....any help would be great, I'm starting to get annoying..

You sure your black box from the star kit is dissconected?
Try redoing the steps of the missing link install.

the black box from the star kit is on my floor less than 3 feet away from me right now, its not on the car.....i have tried to reinstall the missing link and a brand new filter, still the same....any other ideas?

Are you sure that the o-ring on the missing link is still good? I know that the o-ring I got with mine was total crap, and destroyed itself when being put it, which resulted in the same fuel cut that you are talking about. So I just replaced that o-ring and it worked fine.

I would look at the missing link being the problem. I had problems with mine too. Try installing that black box from the star kit and see if that helps the problem, if it does then we know the missing link is to blame.
