Hey I haven't posted my pics like i promised a month or two ago.

Read my profile for the setup or ask questions. I am using the dsm fuel system (n/t 4g63 360cc's, DSM fuel rail attatched to my manifold, DSM FPR 1:1, and a walbro 2.55) I am not running yet though I need to run a return line to the gas tank and wire my AFC. Here are some pics ask away

Are you gonna change the spring on the waste gate so u can run less boost? 11psi on hte stock block spells nothing but "T-R-O-U-B-L-E"

Your status on this site will go from

99 eclipse NT......
99 eclipse NT (w/turbo)......
99 eclipse NT (w/turbo).....(w/out motor)

sure does...I have to agree ;)

Thanks for bringing that up, I did find another actuator that A did not get in the way of my oil return line and B was only a 5lb spring. So yes :thumb:

In my shop i have tons of parts laying around. Im not sure which compressor it was on though

But this setup should be pretty sturdy.

umm...u need to remove that crankcase breather line from the cold pipe like now. Think about it, that line used to go to the intake for excess pressure to be released...BUT, that upper intercooler pipe is no longer your intake. Instead, it's forced air from the turbo, and it WILL pressurize the crankcase if left hooked up like that. You need to put a breather filter or catch can on the valve cover, and cap off the nipple on the pipe. Otherwise, looks pretty good. :rocks:

oh no, xs power turbo OMG

I hope that turbo works ok for you. I have heard nothing but bad stories from them. Search Theres pleanty of threads

But, we'll just have to see.

I didn't wanna say anything bout that considering there are guys who have run theirs forever just fine...but the horror stories are definitely in bulk :|

Yeah ill take care of the breather deal. I also have to get a line from the actuator to a vacuum line ran aswell. Hey were did you guys send your boost gauge hose through the fire wall? Or is there a closer place. Also at 5 psi I should be good I hope. the turbo is a brand new turbo with warranty so i hope it lasts. I hope she runs good when I finally turn her on any things to look for guys?

Do you have an oil pressure gauge...that's a good thing to watch.

Check for leaks of course. Oil from the sender location on back of block, from the oil pan drain, and feed/return line fittings on turbo. Also check those fuel system connections that you were working on. :thumb:

Yeah I would like a an oil pressure gauge as well as a wideband o2 down the road. Will def check for leaks. Also def gonna make sure that I'm not going to run lean. My mechanic is going to tune it with the SAFC and lean it out because I am expecting to run extremely rich with big pump and injectors. I know most of you guys are turning up the fuel pressure with an SFMU or FMU but we did a totally diff setup, the majority of you guys don't think will work. If it comes down to it I will get one but I think Ill be OK. Im hopefully getting my DP on wed or thur of this week. Again where did you guys send your vacuum line through on the fire wall. I sent all of my wires at the passenger floor location but the line I got with my gauge doesn't go that far? One last thing is for those using the greddy tt I am supposed to get the GS-T harness correct. :thumb:

yeah i know a local person who uses the same turbo as well I fear for the engine not the turbo

where did u get ## manifold? or did u make it?

if you made it um it looks very clean LOL...let me know dude thx

Thats right ebay it was. However buy a hahn or star if you can find one. The central mounted t3 flange makes everything more difficult. :notgood:

i yea, i need one with the garret T-25, 16g etc flange...my bad...i didnt even pay attention to the type of turbo you had haha...my bad..looks nice though dude, hope it all works out for you

a mitsu flange?

Those turbos have a special flange to fit on the 4g's.

It cant be that different. My friend has a GSX and swapped a T-25 for a 14b.

Back to topic at hand can anyone please give me some insight where to send my vacuum hose for the boost gauge. I don't want to pinch it going through the passenger side openening.

i used the passenger side with no problem. i also have many wires going through the steering column grommet.

Then its advanced auto for me to get some longer cable :thumb:

-Selmerguy about how many feet of vacuum line will I need?

i think i bought ten for the boost gauge. i know i didn't use that much and i think i used the rest to do the my bov and wastegate.
i dont know what kind of boost gauge you have but i had to buy a plumbing fitting (3/8npt to a nipple)from home depot and screw it into the back of the gauge where the cheep compression type fitting went.
