The kit is not SS Autochromes, but another. I asked on here a while back about it and heard nothing but good things about it. The kit im installing for a friend is in the process of coming together and we just had a major setback. The turbo doesnt fit under the hood. We tried to rotate it, but it still wont fit. It got late last night so we didnt have a chance to go one more turn, but it looks like the compressor outlet will hit the exhaust manifolds. Anyone know what to do? The last resort is to cut the bracing off of the underside of the hood to get it to fit, but i REALLY dont want to do that.
Also, we put together the oil feed line, but when we went to screw it in, the T comes really close to some metal bracket or something (again it was late last night and couldnt see very well) and we cant screw in the feed line unless you unscrew it some and have the oil feed line facing torwards the passenger side and loop around to the drivers side. When rotated, the T fitting becomes loose from the block and can freely turn. I dont want to risk having a major oil leak. We put teflon tape around the threads to help keep back the leaks, but im still worried.
Any suggestions?
