I finally got my N/A 1990 Galant GSX, turboed and runing. It was a lot of work and a lot of time to get it all done. Currently I am still on the stock ECU and cranking about 8lbs of boost. Now I did a build on the bottem end so that it could handle a shit load of boost. So it is running, it needs a shit load of tuning, and and I need to put the turbo ECU and 2g MAF on.

List of Mods
- Wiesco 9:1 Pistons .020 over
- Stock 1g rods
- ARP Head/Rod/Main Bolts
- Clevite 77 Rod/Main Bearings
- Stock Head
- Mitsubishi MLS head Gasket
- EVO 3 16G
- EVO 3 Manifold
- EVO 3 O2 Housing
- Lucas 550cc
- Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel
- ACT 6 Puck Clutch
- BG Syncro Shift
- Redline Heavy weight Gear Oil
- Turbo ECU
- 2G MAF
- K&N FIPK
- Stock Galant VR4 Intercooler Piping
- EBAY Intercooler

- Blitz SBC-ID Boost Controller
- Blitz DATT Turbo Timer
- APEXi SAFC I
- MMCD Datalogger

Also all of the tutorials on here are very good. They all lack a few things, but with plunty of searching around you can get the correct answers. I know the big one for me was how well will my car run with the Stock NA ecu. Well it will run find up to about 6lbs of boost. I would recommend that you get a turbo ecu before starting this.

Now How did I do my stuff. Well I took the whole motor out, starting picking up parts here an there, and bam took the block over to the machine shop and had them do all the work to it. Was it worth it for the 750, to get all the work done. Hell Yes. My car runs awesome at only 6-8lbs of boost. With a ghetto base tune.

The hard stuff on the build. The oil pan. I just took my stock oil pan and drilled holes into it, for the oil return. It leaks a little bit, but I think if I throw a little gasket maker up in there it will be all good. Running the additional wires, I used the spot recommened in the other posts. Just drill a whole close to where the ecu sits.

I will post some more in a little here. Fell free to ask any questions.

An Update.
I am finally running the car at about 18psi, and it is running like a raped ape. It is awesome. I have over 100% duty cycle on my injectors, so I am getting some 720cc injectors this week, and then I am going to work on getting a good tune and then it is off to the dyno, and then the track.

To give you an idea of how fast my little galant is, I raced a M3 on the street and the whole time I was on that duds door. He could not shake me if he wanted. He had be on the launch, because I am still learning how to drive and launch my AWD car. The boost builds fast and creeps like a bi***. I had it creep all the way to 20psi and I had to slow down before it went any higher. I have only taken the car to 6500 rpms and it runs very well.

My Galant remined me of a Glock. You could throw sand in that shit and it will still run. I an very happy with the turbo swap.

Congrats on the conversion and the success. Enjoy the new found power!
