new turbo problems can anyone help??

I just turboed my car about 2 months ago, it has been running pretty good but recently i have been having problems... heres the set up i'm running...
turbonetics t3/t4
fmic
tial bov
tial wastegate
adjustible fuel press reg
walbro 255 fuel pump
and all the other miscelaneus parts required for it to work

the problems i am hare are the following....
the A/F gauge is sitting constantly on rich, it sits on the last green bar when i hit the gas quick the A/F gauge will flash the rest of the gauge.. its an autometer, and i know the gauge is not broken...
next problem is that when i hit boost, it will hessitate almost like it is hitting fuel cut, it does this all the time now, before it wasn't having this problem, i do not have a missing like yet, but i am waiting on one in the mail, i am hoping that this will fix that hessitation but i am still not sure why the A/F is reading rich constantly, i recently had the check engines checked and i was throwing a code about the air fuel code, and a barametric pressure code, this is all the info i know, and if anyone has any suggestions i would appreceiate it, thanks...
 
As far as I know, the Tial will only be worth it to you if your running like 20psi or more. I'm not 100% sure on that, but perhaps that might be worth looking into.

You didnt mention anything about injectors, but I think its safe to assume that you upgraded your injectors because going turbo would make more sense upgrading injectors especailly since you have the 255. Also, what are you using to tune your a/f ratio? If nothing, that would be why your running so rich, get an afc.

The missing link does nothing but smooth the transition from vacum to boost. It has no effect on how much boost you run or a/f ratio.
 
You didn't mention anything special with that gauge, so I'm assuming it's just a regular narrowband :barf:, since autometer doesn't have a wideband setup as far as I know (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). To me, those gauges are pretty much useless, and their readings aren't anywhere near accurate enough.

As for not having the missing link, that definitely could be part of your problem, or a likely culpret for other problems you may or may not have experienced yet. You said it's in the mail, so you should have it installed soon. If it doesn't seem to help at all, that hesitation you feel when hitting the gas, could very well be a boost leak. Make sure to check all your piping, couplers, hoses, etc. just in case :thumb:. Good luck, let us know how it all works out.

Its actually good that your air/fuel goes green very quick when you stomp on the gas. You shouldn't be thinking of how your car is running by just those idiot lights though.

The hesitation is likely because you are too rich. When I hit the gas, I have maybe the 3rd green light. I dont tune by that gauge though. Im going to suggest you get a wideband and really see where your air/fuel is.

then maybe the o2 sensor is going or bad. did you have the a/f gauge on before you had the turbo? i know my a/f gauge sat at the last green bar when i hit wot, until i tuned it with my s-afc.
 
the 02 sensor is brand new, the a/f gauge was fine before the tubo it would bounce back and forth until wot, then it would go green, now it just sits at green, and i am throwing a cel code about the air fuel ratio,i'm still waiting for the missing link, i hope that will solve this problem
