Simple AVC-R question

Hi guys I just finished installing my Hahn non intercooled kit and I fired everything up so far so good.

I also just finished installing my new AVC-R but I've got a quick question:

Can I set the AVC-R "Setting" to off? So that the default 5psi wastegate regulates the pressure... I want it only to monitor the boost levels for now (until I get my intercooler).

I can do a lot more than just drive a DSM. I can tell you proper terms for the auto and manual transmissions, how a fuel system works, chamber firing orders, what PCM, ECU, CMP, EGR, IAC, PVC, WOT, TB, MAP, ect are and what they are used for, what a camshaft / piston / rod / bearing / rocker / lifter / wrist pin / retainer / cam / clutch ect all are and where they are, as well as build a turbo kit, install it, and tune it properly.

I had a wonderful e teacher(s), that I still learn everyday something more from him/them.

then why don't you help me out......I took my avc-r back...going with manual boost controller, going to do internals instead. Hey we've seen your car lets see you with your car...
