Question! About my 95 GS

If I bought just a turbo kit could I install it, or what other parts would i have to buy to install it! THanks Sorry for the Newb Question :thumbdown

I would suggest a Hahn kit, you can do it yourself on a weekend.

You'll need to purchase any gauges that you'd want, some of which are neccessary. Boost for sure, and then everyone kind of has different wants/needs for gauges. I've got Boost, EGT, A/F ratio (which I wouldn't recommend), oil pressure, and fuel pressure. A lot of people swap out their Cartech FPR also.

You can install it yourself. But I'd say it would take more than a weekend unless you've got a hoist and all the tools right at your disposal plus a friend or two to help. Mine took a month because I had questions that weren't covered in the instructions. Needed tools that I didn't have, and was dealing with a '95 which had been driven in the winter in Minnesota for the first 4 years of its life, so there was rusty crap I had to deal with.

I never did any major engine work on a vehicle before, and my HRC Stage II kit hasn't had a single problem since the install, other than the fact that they supplied me with some cheap ass fuel line hose. If you get a kit, just take your time & you'll be fine.

I got the STAR Stage 2 kit. I got it installed in 3 hours, but I'm pretty good
It also took me 7 miles to blow up my motor with my turbo kit It was on its last legs when I turboed it.
