does anyone have a picture of what the inside of their BOV should look like at idle

when my engine is running i can see the rubber seal if i look inside the vent of the bov and then if i rev the engine i can see the bov close tight then as soon as i let off it opens back up

low boost like 1 to 5 psi i get a little flutter then it goes off properly
high boost 6-10 psi it blows off like it should

is that normal or should it be adjusted so that it is closed at idle

I think its supposed to be where you dont get any flutter..... Atleast thats the way it is for us 4g63's. The type S has to be adjusted just right. :thumb: :talon:

but there is no way to recirculate on a 420a engine is there?

i decided to try some experimenting
i read a lot of pros and cons of hooking up the lower nipple to the compressor housing
so i figured wtf why not

amazing
the damn thing works now
even at low boost
like 1 psi
i get a poof of air sound
not the kicked the dog high pitched flutter that i was getting

at higher boost 5psi up the max i am pushing i still get the whoosh instead of the flutter
and it holds steady at wot

now that it is working it will probably blow the whole car up
