i think you have to change the spring in the waste gate for a weaker one. i cant remember but try searching i made a thread just like this.

If your running the HRC turbo you can get one of thier wastegates that run about 8psi possibly less. I ran 8psi and never ran less than that but it's possible you might be able to run less.

Whoops, how the hell did I miss that? Well, you could use the HRC wastegate on the 14b if you find a way to mount it I'm sure.

here is my opinion, if u have an internal waste gate, you can put some spacers where the rod mounts. Not quite clear with the idea but just work around Keyword " spacer" and the actuator rod. The other way is het an external waste gate with a 5-7 psi spring if you have a place where to mount it on your exhaust manifold. You internal would never get to open beacuse the other one will open first. Good luck man.

Don't know what a 14b looks like but if u have an external waste gate just change the spring. I had a 9 psi I changed it for a 5-7 one. I bought it from summitracing.com.

Yep that is what you are going to have to do.
-Look for a spring for the internal wastegate. Then I don't know how to change it.
-You can also, look for another internal wastgate already set to 5 psi and then with a boost controller you can raise it up. ( this is what i would do.)
-And the las option not recomended: will be getting an external wastegate. But you will need a flange for it, piping. And In my opinion external wastegate is great for High Boost cars.
