Ok so i have done some research on the missing links and i have yet to find a picture of one installed. below is what i think is the FCD on my car ( i bought the car with a hahn kit already on it so i never had the pleasure of installing everything myself). I am guessing that the plug beside of it is the MAP sensor. now from what i understand
the missing link bolts to the intake and the MAP plugs into the missing link. did i read correctly into it.
would it be possible to use a missing link and a FCD at the same time

Yes i just purchased a missing link from www.nipponpower.com it was a breeze to install. The missing link sits on top of the intake manifold and the map sensor sits on top of the missing link. Check engine light was gone and cars runs very smoothly. I'm not sure if you can run the fcd and the missing link at the same time. I would recommed the missing link over the fcd anyday. The missing link is very good quality and i would hate to see the fcd electronically fault in the high rpm range. Without the missing link the computer is seeing an over abundance of air entering the manifold and tries to save the engine by dumping fuel.

cool thanks for the reply
was i correct in what i think is the map sensor
i cant find a pic in any of my books

my fcd is working now but i would hate for it to quit when i need it most
