Star Stage II Help!!!

alright, i just put in my star stage 2 kit this past weekend, so far im loving it but the every drive i take i feel as if the car was not running at full boost. I got my boost gauge in today and installed it and i was right. It is only running at 4 PSI ( well the needle falls in between 4 and 5 PSI on the guage) ....So what im trying to find out is, Is the wastegate for star kit preset at 4 PSI, cuase i thought it was preset at 8? If it is preset at 8, what is the problem? could i have a boost leak? or could the wastegate be hooked up wrong? Any help with this would be great cause i want it to be running at 8PSI Thanks Alot Brian

If your wastegate was not hooked up you would get too much boost. Most likely a boost leak. Do you have a fmic? The volume of a fmic can cause a pressure drop.

yes i have a front mount, but im dont think thats where the problem is comin from.....last night i tookk the waste gate from another car we have at my house that is set at 8 psi, and it went up to 8/9PSI when i drove it... so im pretty sure it is the waste gate just being preset at 4 PSI....is anyone elses like this???
