I have a 1992 mitsubish ieclispe GS non turbo and i bought lately a stock turbo of 1991 mitsubishi eclispe GSX so what should I have to do with my engine to make the turbo run on my car? do I have to change anything in my engine or ECU or just plug the turbo and run? 10x :dsm: are the Best!

what is the difference in the engine between a 1992 mitsubishi eclispe GS non turbo and GSX? can I plug the GSX turbo in my GS non turbo without changing anything in my engine?

yea there is a lot of difference. the suspension is different setup wise, tranny,t-case,rear, just a few

Guys, he just asked about the engine... engine wise there isnt a huge difference, i think its just(besides the turbo) the oil squirters, and pistons that are different.

1. Turbo motor has lower comp stronger pistons needed for turbo
2. turbo motor has 1 oil squirter for each cylinder
3. turbo has more aggresive cams
4. turbo block has knock sensor, a must for a turbo DSM
5. fuel system
6. Throttle body
7. not part of the motor but is very important, Flywheel-clutch-tranny-axles

i think the bigger question is why was this 4 month old thread brought back to life by a post with absolutely no point or purpose?
