hey, I wanted to install my Cartech FMU so I was looking at my fuel rail, because the book says its on the end of it. But Icouldn't findit. Then I found it right on top of the fuell filter on the back close tp the tank. Now I have no idea how am I going to hook it up. If you gentlemen knw please help me out. I need some type of answer fast.

you must be talking about the no return line problem

What I did
I got an alum. fuel rail
-6an fittings going in and coming out, onefor the high pressure and one for the return
hooked the return up to my FPR after the fuel rail and made my own return line coming out of the FPR
What did I do with the stock FPR I got rid of it and pluged the hole for it the ran my return line back to where the stock one is

Our car's have a return less system wich suck's but that is what I did

there is a return line. I saw it. it even says it on the book. I have a 96 GS u sure we r talking about the sme year. the Stock FPR sits right on top of the fuel filter and there is a returb line coming out of it to the tank. I have a cartech FMU I don't know where to kook it up.I'm sure we do have a return line it just dosn't come from the fuel rail. I was thinking of hooking my fmu on the return line from after the stock one. Do you think it will work???

no, cause you will have the stock FPR regulating the fuel before it gets to your aftermarket regulator

I was suggersted to put the crtech FMU instead of my stock one. But I can't do that. first of all the unit I have is meant to work with the stock one because it only controls the max pressure , my car would rune very rich all the time. And second i wouldn't have no place to hook up my return line. that means the pressure would go really high.
I called begi engineering they said they could upgrade my fmu to one that would susbstitute my stock one. I might go with that. My best option would have been if I would have got a fuel rail from the 95 model. they come with the stock FPR at the fuel rail and its vacum controled so its so easy to override it. It come with the return line at the rail also so i'd have to run the return line from the engine compartment to the vent line in the tank. Do you guys know who has a 95 fuel rail ???
I did a lot of progress until I hit this problem. i am going to post some pics after a few days. I put my battery in the trunk I cut the hood made a air scoop out of it and put a side mount intercooler where the battery was. I have to move my ECU a little. But its perfetc. I have a t3 , deltagete, Blitz DD BOV but all that I can't hook up yet bacuse of my fuel system that i found out that is so messed up on 96 GS till 99 I think. I still don't know how did people get thru this hole FPR in the back thing. the other problem is that is a mechanical one. No matter how much u pinch the return line that FR is not gonna let any more fuel thru. Well that is still to find out. I'm going to lift the car on jacks I'm going to close the vent line shut and I'll se if the pressure rises at the rail.
Hey guys there is a service valve on the rail , do u think it will work if I put my fuel gauge over there. The book says if u do that the fuel pump relay would stay on for 7 min, and I don't really want that to hapen every time I turn the car on. I feel so dwon now.
