OK, so I got the Star turbo kit....Now, I dont know what to do with the stock ECU. Atleast I assume it wont work right with the turbo kit installed and I was thinking of getting a ECU from my friend with a 4G63T,but the 420A and 4G63T are 2 differant engines so now Im not sure if I should try to get that DSMlink or the standalone AEM unit and adjust it that way....options options options....... :dsm: :dsm:

i'm guessing ur running stock bottom end?ur supose to keep ur stock ecu and no u can't use the ecu from a 4g63 on a 420a motor..the star kit should come with everything u need to run with ur stock ecu but u might want to get a missing link so ur ecu wont see boost(not sure what black box the star kit comes with).if ur running on stock bottom end(5-7 lbs of boost) u don't need dsmlink or a standalone unless u have a built block with some bigger injectors.

I don't mean to be an ass but our computer is called PCM (Performance Control Module) not ECU.. Chrysler is a piece of crap and decided to put it the Engine bay VS. Passenger compartment. So if you plan on doing a stand alone you have to rewire everything inside your car.. Because most computers can't stand the heat of the engine.

If you want the AEM plan on spending double the amount.. Dyno tuning, wiring and base map building is not cheap..

As for now, I would do what xxthayxx said and get the missing link, I have extra one laying around in my garage.. PM me. Don't use missing link if you plan on using the SAFC for fuel tuning because the missing link tricks the MAP sensor voltage and the SAFC reads off the MAP sensor voltage.. Bad combination, I wasted an Hour of dyno time last year trying to figure that out..
