If Iwas to upgrade my 99 Eclipse GS N/T to A Turbo, I know I would need to upgrade the internals.. I was planning Eagle Rods with Ross Pistons 8.5:1 compression... Then what else would i need to upgrade, I know I'd need to upgrade my exhaust system but what parts would need to be and which brands are best... also what would be the best turbo kit to get i was thinking anywhere from 10-20PSI boost whatever is possible without risk to the engine

since ur gonna have the engine apart i would replace ur bearings also, your also going to need a stronger clutch. Im using Centerforce. As for turbo kits that run like 10-20psi i personally dont recommend kits, sure its nice to have all the parts in at once so you dont have to shop around looking for crap. But you save money getting all your turbo parts together, it also allows u to get specific stuff that you want on your turbo such as BOV, FMIC sizes, FMU, boost controller, ect.it costed me 900 (rounded) for everything to turbo my car (not including shop welding fee's for downpipe and BOV flange) i got a Garret T3 turbo and i cant wait to see what it can do it will push out a max of 28psi 350hp gain just from turbo. My internals are being done Jan8th-18th of 2005. so imma be boosting 6psi :( until than, but hey atleast its some more hp. After you get your internals done the risk of blowing your engine is a hell of alot less.

P.S. - Hot ride you got, i saw pics from ur aim profile in ur car domain page

Any chance i could get a list of the recommended parts i'd need to put together a turbo kit ex. BOV, Turbo, etc...

well this is what i got

Garret Airesearch T3 turbo (came with downpipe attachment)
Custom manifold (ask around on dsm tuners or search ebay for ppl to make you one)
OBX Stage 3 bov
Home depot Alumium pipping
Home depot oil feed T bolt for oil pressure sensor and to get oil to turbo
Home depot Oil Return high temp hose a drainage plug, and plug that fits into turbo
My FMIC i think is a no name brand.

Thats about it, besides gaskets and such that you can make yourself.
Even with a kit you gotta sodder or Tig weld and if you dont know how to do that your gonna have to pay a shop to weld/tig that stuff on, thats why my turbo is not on yet, im saving up some $$$ to pay for the shop to weld my downpipe and bov flange on also bend my alumium pipping for intercooler. The Rest im doing by myself in the parking lot all day LOL. the parts all together have costed 860, and after the shop fee's i figure total will come to about 930-950.

Alright thanks that helps alot... one question, what is a FMIC???
