I was not sure if this was the way it was suppose to be or not. My friend has a stock turbo 2g eclipse and no matter how hard or how long he steps on the gas the BOV goes off doesnt matter if the turbo spools or not. Now on my 420a the BOV will only go off during hard acceleration or if the turbo spools up. Also with my HKS SSQ i still get a lot of fluttering under 4psi. I think i may have a vacuum leak, would this cause this problem? Or what would cause my BOV to not always go off like a stock turbo would.

it doesn't really make sense for your friend's blow off valve to go off all the time...but anyway the hks ssq just flutters no matter what...should've read up on that before you purchased it...and i should've read up about how the greddy type s is a pos

Hmm... i bought it because i thought it wouldn't flutter. But anyways i still think i have a vac. leak the only thing i can find that leaks is the pressure control sensor located by the cam shaft sensor. Anyone know if this is suppose to leak or not. I dont know if it is suppose to regulate anything or not.

You can't hear stock 4G63 blowoffs because they vent back into the intake (ie not to open air) so they are muffled. Take off the recirculation pipe that vents it into the intake, and you will get to hear BOV noise but the car will fart on every shift because it will run rich. MAF cars need to recirculate the BOV air back into the system of they run messed up. Since our cars aren't MAF based, you can vent it to the atmoshpere, no problems, so we get to hear BOV noise.
