Which kit would be better the Hahn Stage 1, or the Star Stage 1? Looking in the parts catalog the Star is cheaper; however, I am unable to find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get it?

what would be better all depends on what you want. the star comes with the T3/T4, which can handle more power, but hahn comes with the 16g, which spools up faster. so if your planning for some serious power, you may want to go with star. but with a stage 1 you wont be able to get serious power. also, if you are gonna install it yourself, hahn has like a 40 pg install guide, while star's is like 3 pgs.

they have the star stage 1 and 2 there

Well, I generally plan on going for about 225 at the crank for now...so either one...are there any other places to get the hahn?

importparts.com is where i bought mine.. pretty cheap and i think they added some goodies in there as extra when u buy the stage 2 kit like a turbo timer...etc look at the site and it'll have it.. :thumb:

The way I see it, the star kit has better products (wastegate, bov, etc.) but the hrc kit has better support.

So if you know what you're doing get the star (1 page install guide) and if you're new to it get the hrc.

is it possible to buy just a 16g turbo without buying the rest of the parts from hahn? And just buy customized parts for you liking?

Yes, Hahn also sells a Manifold/Turbo package, so all you would really need is piping, intercooler, downpipe, and stuff to control your fuel.

awesome have a link? I am sure its cheaper than the whole kit

another question(hehe sorry) if I buy that would I need other supporting mods or would I be ok to run that in a n/t by itself?

depends on what you wanna do, but technically, just putting in the kit you should be ok. they recommend a cat back exaust tho. you should be good on everything stock up to 10 psi if you have an intercooler. thats what hahn claims. i dunno if i would take that risk though. but after 10 psi you will need to start replacing your rods and pistons with forged ones and you will need to replace fuel components with higher capacity ones. hope that helps.
