I wanted to know everything that I would need, and if ya'll could list some sites for items needed that would be great. I been looking very hard for FWD Turbo Trannys but have trouble.


Here what I believe I need as of now:

4G63T Engine
A new FWD Trannny
ECU
Intake Manifold
Exhaust Manifold
Alternator
Distributor

For $1,400! Is there anything Else needed that was left out?

not sure what you're going to do with the alternator, or why you're going to change the alternator.

distributor? there isnt one so u can eliminate that out of your list.
i know how hard it is tryin to find a turbo trannyso when i did the swap i just used the n/t tranny. its geared lower and has a smaller clutch. if u use the n/t tranny definatly get an upgraded clutch kit. just use the 2.0 n/t flywheel, clutch kit and starter if u cant get a turbo tranny.
i personally like the gearing of the n/t tranny, but clutch wear will be a problem if your using a stock clutch kit.
 
actually clutch wear isn't that big of a problem on the nt's stock clutch when coupled with turbo power. it pretty much fails instantly, not much long drawn out wear involved :)

LOL oh...
well im using a stock clutch kit till i get an upgraded 1. i havent noticed any slipping and it still engages firm. ive been running it for about 3 weeks now.
 
As for the Alternator and Distributor go if yall didin look at the link I posted the engine comes with that stuff. But the clutch I am 99% sure I am going to buy is the Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch. Its stronger then the ACT 2100 clutch but less then the ACT 2600.

Found it for $270.00 shipped.
 
Yea I am either going to get the Dual Friction or Centerforce I.
 
moved to nt -> turbo conversion.

and i'm closing it since there's like 30 other threads in here about the same subject.
