I have a 99 dodge Neon with the 420A in it. I know it isn't a DSM but i figured you guys may be able to help out a fellow DSM'er. The mods are as follows:

20 over Je pistons, Eagle Rods, Crane turbo Cams, 40 pound injectors, Indy Intake, 3" exhaust, Walbro 255, Hahn Race craft 16g turbo kit, Clutchmaster stage 4 Clutch, SAFC 2, Aeromotive Fuel pressure regulator, AEM Eugo Wide band. I can boost fine to 10psi of boost but after that my wide band goes completely lean and the car falls off. It has been running fine at 20psi for over a year and it stared this all of a sudden. Any ideas why it is going lean after 10psi of boost?

All you've done to the fuel and control systems is add a Walbro 255 fuel pump, S-AFC II, larger injectors and an AFPR?

Yes, why?

OH yea I have rewired the walbro as well, and it also has a Cometic head gasket and ARP head studs.

the 255 is less than a week old.

I didnt know that on our engines you can run a safc that high. Isnt the point of the safc to trick our ecu's so that the fuel to boost rate is changed? Here's a quick write about it. Post # 36. I think you need to ditch the safc and get better tuning software.

What everyone ^^^ is getting at is we don't understand how your car was ever running good with that kind of fuel control. You should consider yourself lucky the expensive engine didn't go on strike. I personally like the AEM fic and would recomend it to you. They are going for less than $400 and the afc could offset the cost, then you would have real control of fuel and timing.

He said his car was running fine for a while now, this is like one of those threads where everyone recommends DSMLink as soon as someone talks about upgrading their injectors.

Have you tried a boost leak test yet?

It looks like this is one of those threads where someone recomends a MAF technique on a NEON WTF it is speed density so a boost leak test is meaningless. You can hook up a fuel pressure gauge and monitor it while boosting. If you add fuel with the afc it will show the map sensor too much voltage and fuel cut.
