2g NT rebuild

I want to first start out by saying I've done some research throughout the forums but was unable to get a clear answer that pertains to my particular situation. With that said, here it goes....

I want to rebuild my engine because I just hit 220 KM's (sorry, not sure what that is in miles), so I feel it might be best to replace some of the major engine internals. I want to upgrade some of the parts including the seals, pistons, rods, cams, camshaft....etc. I don't want to prep this car for a turbo kit so forged internals are not what I'm looking for. I went to the howell website and looked at some prices but I read some reviews that their shipping is anything but spectacular.

Basically, my question is, what parts should i seriously consider replacing, and what parts are going to give me the biggest bang for my buck. I don't want a full blown track car, I just want a nice daily driver, with a solid engine that can hang with the best of them.

I've never rebuilt an engine before, so I just want to gather as much information as I can before I committ to parts. Thanks in advance!

Check out Modern Performance. I have had good luck with them in the past, very good customer service, etc. They have top end and bottom end rebuild kits. And you can choose different parts depending on what you want - if you want upgraded cams, you can get them, if you want to stick with stock compression pistons since you don't want to turbo it, you can choose them too. Check out the link here. Their top end kit is like 1300 and the bottom end is 1000.

I would imagine this question could cause some debate, but what parts will compliment eachother the best, or does it not matter? Like if I buy crower cams, should I buy AEM cams, or Fidanza....
