98 talon running rich

I was racing and i seen a little smoke behind me i couldn't see what color because it was at night but my buddy behind me says im running rich because we both smelt the smoke and you can tell it was in fact running rich all i have is and intake and i know i shouldn't worry about it but it seems to be running richer than any car I've ever seen and the car is not sluggish by any means, does anyone have an idea why its this way...by the way i did put fuel injector cleaner in it so i was thinking that could be it?

This doesn't seem like engine management forum material to me.

Do a compression test to verify the condition of your engine, better safe than sorry

Is it running rich at idle, while accelerating, while decelerating, or all the time?

Sorry if its in wrong place wasnt sure were to put it...but seems like all the time.
