Bulletproof Axles!!!!!!

Ok after talking with both companies(driveshaft shop and Raxels) I am convinced we're getting the shaft and if we can get enough people to hop on board we can get Raxles to invest in making us a set of axles made for our car. The turbo guys get a set of bulletproof for get this...$400 fir the set . Driveshaft shop wants 1200 for a stage 3 setup which is rated to 525hp with no warranty as far as breaking while the $400 gets you a set of axles that has a lifetime no ?'s asked warranty for life!!!. I would be willing to send them a set of axles so he could figure out how to make us a set liek that but I need people to get in on it to make it worth his time to even get into this. I'm posting this on 2gnt.com too and i'm gonna send him a list of how many people would be willing to buy a set similar to the turbo set. Keep in mind i'm not saying that they will def be $400 but the fact that they have a warranty on their axles so that you can go to the track or out romping and not have to worry what if I break an axle is worth every penny. NO BS!!!> Don't put your name down here if you don't reall think you will dime out for a set because I don't want to waste this guys time but I know guys like ZERO Crab and awdynamite woudn't mind but we need more then just the big dogs to get him to make these.

Sure the stock axles have held up so far but for a price like that or close it would be worth the security. EVeryone from the all out NA guy cough cough mark to the average NT-T guy making 250whp to Zero could justify spending that kinda money for peace of mind with a lifetiem warranty. So liek I said anyone REALLY interested say so and i'll get a hold of the guy at raxles and see what he can do.

Yeah driggs made a comment in the other thread that you don't replace it untill it breaks but I disagree. People are going bigger faster and lowering 60ft times. The stock axles are ok but if people keep up at this rate they won't cut it for long why not invest now while it's reasonable instead of waiting and then having to spend much more later on down the line.

I don't think they are but are the NT axles the same as the turbo fwd's axles (think the turbo fwd's have a larger outer hub/spline section & different spline count)? I thought about upgrading but so far looking around the $1200 mark for what I need.

I am down for a set. I am shocked at how long my drive shafts have lasted. I do not know when they will break and i would like to not have to spend 1500 on a DSS stage 5 set.

Incase you mean you started this because they don't make NT axles while they make turbo axles, that isn't the case. Last time I checked (couple months ago) they don't make "race" axles for fwd turbo's either, just awd models, which obviously don't have the same axles as a fwd turbo. This is why I wanted to verify fitment.

No I meant because a set that would fit yoru car cost 1200 not because they dn't make them for fwd's...but that too

Yeah thats the alternative. I bet all it will take is for crab or awd to break an axle and this thread will be 5 pages long which is sad because it shouldn't take something real bad to happen to justify investing in making your car a morereliable car.

Slippie- Have you actually talked to Raxles? I called them today and spoke to Marty. He said that in order for us(Fwd) to have stronger axles we need to have a stronger outer joint. The only way possible, he said, is by upgrading hubs. He went on further saying that since DSS has already done this, that it is not something that he would do.

I was like, that sucks. Looks like us fwd guys are stuck taking it up the butt without any lube.

Yeah I talked with him and he told me the same thing about the outer joints but his thing was no one had come to him about iyet so he didn't seem into it he didn't tell me he wouldn't do it because DSS had already done it. IN fact he we talked briefly about how he thought it was kinda messed up how other companies kinda tell kids their beat when they by these expensive axles and the break. If he's saying now he wouldn't do it might be stuck with 1200 bill but from the turn out to e honest I don't think there's enough people trying to push the limit yet to get him to make them anyway oh well looks like after I drop 1200 fo my chromoy cage I gotta drop another 1200 for axles.

From whatcrab said and talking to DSS the reason it's so much is cause of the hub and even if raxel makes a setup it wouldn't be much cheaper because of that. Kind of a bumer because now you guys who I thought about along with myself are coming out and seem intereted. I"m still gonna try and talk to both companies see if there is another option. BUlletproof lifetime axles cost turbo awd guys 400 a set so I don't see how even with hubs it wouldn't be possible to make something cheaper than 1200.
