Shepherd tranny?

Just wondering if anyone has had their transmission rebuilt by Shepherd?

If not Shepherd, where have you had your transmission rebuilt?

I know that Shepherd does wonders for the 4G63 transmission.

Any comments are appreciated.

Are you wondering if John works on NA transmissions? If so, you could just call up and ask...

I've never heard of John working on such transmissions. But that doesn't mean he hasn't.

I talked to TRE when I was going to really make my 420a fast. They said the would do it but it was like 2500 buck.

I emailed Shepherd and they do not rebuild our transmissions. I have not heard of TRE. Do you know of anyone who has work done by them?

Yeah about half(guessing) of the built trannys for 4g3 guys are done by tre. Very good work. I will send my awd tranny to them very soon.

No shep does not do Nt transmissions. He has done a couple in the past but will not anymore. the entire gearset is different and weaker than a turbo transmission. Thats a 4g though not the 420. I don't know if Tre even does the 420 transmissions either.

Selmerguy: may i ask why you have chosen tre over sheps? just wondering.
