Toronto,
My clutch went out today, its been chattering for the last 2 weeks, and last night it got a whole lot worse, I drove ended up stopping by the shop that works on my car and had them try to test drive it. Good thing I got it there because the throw bearing was gone when they tried to test drive it and the car wasn't going nowhere.
Looks like I won't be getting tuned saturday and we'll have to wait another couple of weeks.

Murphy's LAW!

I don't know if I need a new clutch yet, but if I do I was wondering who's got the best one for our 420a's for a turbo'd application.
I've been searching and I heard something like the SPec stage 1 and 2's don't work so good, and the RAM ones aren't the best either.
So what should I go with if I go with a new one

Spec stage 3 sprung is what I wanted to get. I haven't heard anything bad about it yet. Clutchmasters sucks. My buddy had a stage 3 in his neon RT and had to send it back 4 times... he broke it in right too. Not fun taking the tranny out 4 times... oh well, we're really good at it now :thumb:

My buddy Mike went through countless ones in his GS-T.....centerforce, spec, and ACT he just ate right through. The first one that actually held up for a while was Clutchmasters. From what I hear, you'd get more shelf-life out of that than the leading brands... :thumb:
