which turbo

I am looking to put a turbo on my non-turbo and I wasnt sure what would be the best one for my 420a? My plan is to rebuild another motor and drop the compression so I can run higher boost. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know I would greatly appreciate it.

Super 16G, but really it depends on how much boost you plan to run.

I plan to run at least 16 psi through it just drivin and then go from there when I race or am at the track

There are other things to worry about besides the size of the turbo that you wanna run. If you get the HRC turbo kit it comes with the S16G standard. From there you can go up to the 20G and soon the 25G with accompanying mods..
If you get the Star Performance kit it comes with a T3/T4 and from there you can get the E-trim with the ball-bearing center section.

If you plan on running anything like 16 psi then you will NEED to get forged internals and a fuel system that can handle that much boost. Otherwise you can kiss the motor goodbye. Go to 2GNT.com and read up. All the helpful info you can ever want for your car.
