Custom bent EX. W/ Muffler.

Just curious how my car will perform and sound if I have an exhaust custom bent for my car with SS and just buy a nice Muffler to top it all off.Is SS really a difference in a custom bend,and which muffler could I buy for a decent price that would have a real deep,non-ricey tone to it?Thanks

SS would be nice for anti-corrosion properties that it has, but you can get away with aluminized steel. Also if you dont want it to sound too ricey definitely put in a resonator. Also get a good muffler. Something like a Thermal R&D should sound pretty good. If you are N/T then done go any bigger than 2.5 inch piping.
