WTF...engine is dying no clue y

when i accel, decel, idle, the car out of now where will die. its idles real ruff. i have no clue why, ive cleaned throttle body, replaced filters, iac has been replaced. any clue why.

TPS could be an issue, also plugs and wires, there could be a lot of things. Are there any other symptoms?

hmm not sure at the moment. its a friends eclipse. but i upgraded to all msd and ngk plugs and gave him my old plugs and coil and they were fine. he will come to a stop and it will die.. and die in the middle of the highway for no reason and whats tcp or whatever that was called thanks

how many miles are on your car? how often does it die?
is it possible for it to have water in the gas tank?
u might as well by some gas treatment j/to check doesn't cost much but im willing to bet your ecu is going out mine did and a couple other peoples on this w/ 95 n/t at about 85,000 k

it is possible for a wire/plug to go bad as soon as he used them, id try new ones.

TPS= throttle position sensor. It could also be a lot of other sensors, like cam or crank angle sensors. Are you getting any CEL's?
