cai install ques(beaten topic i know)

i have searched and searched becuase I know how beaten this topic is. I got the procarparts cold air and it didnt' come with directions. vfaq is down and I can't get a good picture of how its supposed to look. I got it all installed but it was only connected at the throttle body and the small nipple w/ tubing so it doesn't seem very sturdy.. I also started and drove it but it doesn't go past 4 thousand rpms so i dont know where the error is.. let me know your thoughts
