Okay heres the deal I need a new motor, threw a rod. Now I can't decied which short block to chose. My question is for those who have either the 2.2 Stroker or other built blocks, What kind of numbers{hp/torq/times} did you have versus stock? Also is it worth extra $500 for the stroker? Any help is greatly apreciated. In your post please let me know which block you have{howell, rpm,vt,slowboy} and if its a stroker or not.

Thanks

why dont u use the old block and build a turbo motor. get a new gs motor already built incase you blow up the turbo one:thumb:

I don't think the old block has much use since when I threw the rod it punched through the block and old pan.

C'mon I know someone on this forum has a 2.2 Stroker. Someone just say wether or not you are happy with it?

send a PM to greenhrcgs i think thats his sn.......he has a 2.2 stroker with a turbo kit. but he'll tell you his experience on the lower compression pistons with the kit, if thats they way your going.
